A Developing Backlash?

It seems, according to a new Fox poll, that there is a backlash developing against the big-government trend that continues to invade Washington D.C. According to the poll Americans are growing weary of the increased spending and deficits. Will this discontent translate into a vote for smaller government in the 2010 mid-term elections? We shall see. My gut says no, but then I think about the 1994 mid-term elections and think, maybe. Here is a link to the article.
