GOP Wave or Tsunami?

Experts such as Charlie Cook, Larry Sabato, and Stuart Rothenberg all seem to be in agreement that the GOP will have gains in the House of Representatives of 45 to 55 seats. They also seem to be in agreement that the GOP will have gains in the U.S. Senate of 6-8 seats. These results would definitely constitute a wave election, but not a Tsunami.

Other experts such as Dick Morris are more optimistic and believe that, due to a highly motivated GOP electorate, the GOP wave may actually turn into a Tsunami. Morris believes that GOP gains of 70 plus House seats and 10 plus Senate seats are possible.

As for me, I am no expert, but I tend to think that the final results for the House will fall right in between what the experts are predicting. I am predicting a GOP gain of around 60 House seats.

For the Senate, this is a little more difficult to predict due to all of the close races. I am predicting a GOP gain of 8-9 Senate seats.
